Bedroom In Luxury Apartment

This rendering is both work and personal. A current project I'm involved in is the architectural interior of a high-end apartment, the specific details of which I may not disclose. Aside from being the render guy, I also assist in CAD detailing.

Anyway, when I got some free time, I decided to brush up on my V-ray/3DS max skills a little further and incorporated my personal interests into the project. Basically, I imagined myself living in the high-end apartment. The challenge in this one is to really put in the small details that will bring this room to life while not being messy. This one is more of an exercise with the UVW map and UVW unwrap modifiers.

Programs used are 3DS Max, V-ray, and Photoshop. The paintings above the bed are of a stock photo of a tattooed woman from Wikimedia Commons, India the Persian cat from Mythicbells [not my cat], and the Periodic table of metal.
